Hi, I’m Josh and I’ve been doing music for 20+ years – moving from stages big & small (some of them really big and some of them really small 😂) to the production realm and back again. I tour internationally as a bass player and when I’m home I’m in the studio all the time 💪🏽
A lot of artists/bands I work with tend to fall into three camps:
1) They’ve worked with other producers who don’t get their raw sound, they’ve been overproduced they need a new perspective ✅
2) They’re new to the music game, they have some songs, but don’t know how to get them finished ✅
3) They’re a mixture of both of these ✅
Maybe that’s you? 🤷🏽♂️
Whether I’m doing a straight up mix or writing with an artist, what matters to me is that we’re creating something that everyone involved is excited about. I want to make something that I would genuinely show my friends and family as well (especially my nan 👵). It’s also important to me that I’ve bridged the gap between finishing a song and the artists still feeling like the work has deep meaning.
Working with me should, most importantly, be fun. But fun can also be being organised right? I like to be organised and consistent in the way I work, so we get more done.

The artists who I have the best experience with are open to new ideas, are driven and see the bigger picture of what we’re creating! I think micromanaging gets no-one anywhere fast.
